Born in 1982 in Maharashtra Mahesh’s works are a rhythmic play of transparency and inertia. Transparency makes one see through and beyond. While inertia is the existence itself. The artist wants his paintings to be essentially free from design as it’s the free that gives birth to the new. His works speak volumes about freedom as the nature of sound, where in transparency and inertia become one. Mahesh’s works have a soothing juxtaposition of colours and forms without any harsh lines looking like cityscapes.
A large number of his artworks are in private and public collections in India, France, Portugal, London, Singapore, Germany, Amsterdam and Dubai to name a few. He has also held an solo exhibition at the Lalit Kala Academy (2017) and many group exhibitions across the world.
