Ram Onkar is a self-taught artist. Fascinated by the spiritual forms in India, many of his paintings focus on iconic religious figures like Buddha and Krishna. He also concentrates his work around ‘the music of nature’s colours’.

Ram Onkar is also known for his Indian door series wherein he brings life to the traditional entry ways and doorways of India. Depicting life beyond the door while keeping the mystery, Ram Onkar paints highly detailed and raw door paintings.
