As a child, Smrita grew up tending to the huge garden at her home. The flowers she grew have stuck with her, their bright colours a significant part of her colour palette even now. However, as someone who believes in the experimentation of the arts and not being stuck to a fixed style, Smrita has created art works in a variety of mediums. She has done numerous exhibitions locally and internationally.
