Sonali Paul loves to create bronze sculptures of Bengal’s historical roots, where she looks at details in her surroundings. Her sculptures thematically engage with nostalgia, Bengal’s remains of erstwhile rich homes, and landscapes.

She has been shown in various important galleries in India, such as in Mumbai’s Jehangir Art Gallery, Delhi’s Lalit Kala and India Habitat Centre, and so many other places. She received her BFA from Indian Art College, Kolkata, and her MFA from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, Gujarat.
