Color or form have no significance to the artist but it is an automatic activity. In Suresh’s paintings the texture with which he has played for several years together, allowed him to be a part of the nature. Textures of sand, soil their movements and creation have always fascinated the artist.
His paintings at first sight appear to be highly crafted or designed in nature – but that itself is surprisingly the result of an automatism or the act of creation. It is filled with an element of surprise. The seemingly abstract images are actually based on naturally occurring forms found in environment.
